7th Grade Astro Camp Trip!

We are excited to invite your 7th grade Humanities student on an overnight field trip to AstroCamp over February 15-17, 2019 for a 3 day / 2 night trip. AstroCamp is a hands-on physical science program with an emphasis on astronomy and space exploration. In addition to being a lot fun, it meets science content standards for California, inspiring students with learning centers geared to our specific grade level. A Micro Gravity Lab, zip line, ropes courses,  a Mars based rock wall, and laser/star gazing, represent just a few of the options our group has to choose from when we attend.

The camp is located in the San Jacinto Mountains near the town of Idyllwild, two hours east of Los Angeles, California. It’s a beautiful 80-acre campus, on the edge of a mountain meadow, and boasts state of the art equipment for exploring science and nature, comfortable dorm rooms and meals served in their dining lodge.

Please submit your completed Field Trip Intention slip in the Humanities Mailbox in the Main Office, by Friday, October 12, 2018.
