THIS WEEK IN HUMANITIES...

We hope you remembered to set your clock forward and here is your news for the week of March 12, 2018!

Queremos que te sientas involucrado. Si alguno de nuestros eventos necesita explicación adicional, háganoslo saber. Estamos felices de hablar con usted. Envíenos un correo electrónico a: webmaster@reedfoha.org

FORHA MEETING

Thanks to all who came, your time and voices shape our path. You did good!

MARCH 14th WALK-OUT

A National School Walk-Out has been organized by the Women’s March to protest gun violence, and our school offer ways for students and parents to participate. Please listen to Ms Gamba’s Sunday message for details. www.facebook.com/events/1767175080245694/

SAFER STREETS- ACTION REQUIRED!

Write a note, make a call... or better yet have your kid do it! We need to push for city repairs on the hazardous cross-walk by our school. Moreover, teachers will give extra credit to students who write letters. Encourage your child, and take action yourself. Here’s how:

BE SELFISHLY SELFLESS FOR HUMANITIES ACADEMY!

Your help makes middle school a whole lot better, and a better middle school helps your kid. We need some new folks to transition in. You’ll be glad you did!
• Communicate - Write our newsletter, or update our website, or post on FB.
• Cool Committees - Hospitality, Events, Overnight Field Trips. There’s an area for you to make a difference.
Manage Money - We bring it in, and spend it on the kids. What could be better than that?!
• Take Notes - as Secretary you’ll organize and keep our business transparent. So important.
Organize + Direct - Be the master controller… better yet, find a friend and do it together.

GEARHEADS

Many thanks to Israel and his team at GearHeads for a great fundraiser and thank you to all for coming out for it!

LOCAL BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP

Would you like to help FORHA support local business partnerships? There are a few plans in place with great potential.  We are looking for a parent to chair. Interested? Email us at: webmaster@reedfoha.org
